B&O C-15 Express Car

For future reference.

The kit is a Funaro & Camerlengo kit of a PRR Gondola. Several of these cars went to the Long Island Railroad.

Listed here are the modifications and/or modificationdone to the kit

Kit built according to directions.
Stirrup steps replaced with Tichy Steps.
Brake detail added using .010" wire.
Coupler boxes have been glued to floor and holes have been drilled for 2– 56 screws.
Weight has been added between the underframe and wood floor. Without weight the car weighs approximately 1.1 ounces. Sheet lead weight added to bring the car weight to 2.6 ounces.

The base coat is Tamiya Gray Primer. The finish paints are Scalecoat II B & O Royal Blue. The roof is Polly Scale Tarnished Black.

The trucks are Funaro and Camerlengo Resin Trucks with metal wheels.
